Harvest Assembly

Collecting. Reflecting. Celebrating.

An invitation to join us in-person or through
a shared Meditation

(note: this event has passed, but we keep this description available as a glimpse into the types of experiences we offer. And thank you to all who joined us for the Harvest Assembly as we celebrated God’s goodness to us in each season of life.)

Autumn is a season of harvesting. A time when farmers gather from their fields and we glean the last bits from our backyard gardens. Similarly, after the vacationing and slower moments of summer, fall affords us opportunities to alter our pace as we transition to new routines and activities. With the exiting of warm temperatures and long daylight hours we believe it is good to pause. To make space to hold all that God has brought to us.

So we invite you to pause with us. To gather, in person or at your location, and spend time collecting, reflecting, and celebrating God’s presence and care. To look back at the past year to remember and reflect on conversations, experiences, joys, and heartaches that have formed us.

To assist with that look back, we've prepared a contemplative walk through the spiritual "seasons" of our living which mirror the actual seasons of winter, spring, summer, and fall. As we collect, reflect, and celebrate, this spiritual harvesting will prepare us for the beginning of another Christian liturgical year, which starts with a season of waiting and expectation – Advent.

If you're not able to join us in person, consider signing up to receive a Harvest Meditation by email the week of October 9. Near or far, we invite you to join us.
