Pentecost Sunday
Celebration
Celebrating the gift of the Spirit
An invitation to engage with a Communal Meal
and/or Meditation
note: this event has passed, but we keep this description available as a glimpse into the types of experiences we offer.
If you’d like a copy of our Pentecost Meditation, you can find that here.
Fifty days after Easter, Pentecost Sunday (May 19 this year) is a day to remember the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and others waiting faithfully in Jerusalem. The arrival of the Spirit inaugurated the Church, through which all followers of Jesus are joined together as one body by this same Spirit.
(Ephesians 4:4)
As we consider the Church and our participation in it, we thought it appropriate to join together on Pentecost Sunday to share a meal while encouraging one another toward faith and obedience to Jesus.
You’re invited to join us
for a communal meal
as we reflect on, and celebrate, the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(families welcome!)
Here are the details for our gathering:
Sunday | May 19 | 1:00-3:00PM
our home: 3684 Senna Dr. NE
Rockford, MI
Note: please bring a side dish to share. A main course and simple dessert will be provided.
If you're not able to join us for the meal, you’re welcome to go to our Resources page to download a Pentecost meditation to use for prayer and reflection.
